Several hundred people spent Monday night in their vehicles on Hwy 402 in southwestern Ontario. Police on snowmobiles and military helicopters had rescued most of the travelers by Tuesday afternoon on the stretch of highway between London and Sarnia, Ontario. Authorities are reminding motorists to carry winter emergency kits
in their vehicles.
