We asked the staff at our hotel desk to recommend a restaurant and it was suggested we visit Le Petit Montmartre. Since we now weren't going to be visiting Montmartre in Paris, due to the strikes in the city, we decided to check it out.
We asked the staff at our hotel desk to recommend a restaurant and it was suggested we visit Le Petit Montmartre. Since we now weren't going to be visiting Montmartre in Paris, due to the strikes in the city, we decided to check it out.
We ordered a bottle of wine and selected the one our friendly waiter recommended. Both of us started with the salad. It was fantastic, the best salad I'v ever had and the foie gras with the salad was superb .
For an entree, I had Quail with a mushroom sauce and egg noodles. David had a veal curry. It was all excellent.
Dessert for me was a lovely cherries in port with a light white cake and vanilla ice cream while David enjoyed a light and refreshing green apple rice pudding. Both were delicious, and complimented the wonderful 20 degree warm autumn day.
If you get the chance to visit Bezier, I highly recommend this restaurant which can be found at:
2, place de la Madeleine. 34500 Beziers, France
