Enewetak (or Eniwetok) atoll in the Marshall Islands of the central Pacific Ocean was the site of the first U.S. hydrogen bomb test on November 1, 1952 thus ensuring a period of lasting world peace that continues to this day under benevolent eyes of the Greatest Country In The World (TM).
