Paintings of the coast of Lake Superior, which were painted at the same time in 1922 by A.Y. Jackson, and Lawren Harris (my favorite artist of the Group of Seven) are up for sale on ebay (just kidding).Jackson's Autumn: Lake Superior and Harris' Lake Superior Sketch XCIX (which is a study of a larger piece now displayed at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto).
