Rogers NOT Racist, so who is?

I have received a response from Rogers regarding the post yesterday about the description of the movie 'A Mighty Heart' which was airing on Showcase yesterday afternoon.  I still have heard nothing from Showcase.  Rogers says they DO NOT write the descriptions.  Here is the content of their email message to me followed by my photograph of the racist movie description.


Dear Mark Daye,
At this time, we regret to inform you that Rogers is only the cable service provider. We do not have access to the programming options for each channel, nor do we have control over what is added to the movie description. It is up to each individual program company to provide us with this information and we input this information into the interactive programming guide for your use. I have escalated this issue to be fixed.

I took this picture a few minutes ago, the movie 'A Mighty Heart' was playing on Showcase HD, to which Rogers is giving a free preview weekend.

I'm not sure what the scoop is, I tried to ask Rogers but since they don't have live people working for them, all I could do was submit a form. I will let you know what they say, if they bother to respond.

Is CTV news insecure?

During a news conference today at Queens Park, Premier Dalton McGuinty was on the receiving end of a prank by CBC comedian Geri Hall.  This is all over the news here in Toronto, however, if you caught it on the (immature, insecure?) CTV Toronto news you wouldn't have heard the name Geri Hall.  I guess over at CTV they are so threatened by CBC that they won't even mention the name of someone who works for the CBC, like Geri Hall.
